Comments

Our recommendation of Gineen Bresso for Congress is due to her well-established credentials as a conservative, TEA Party Republican is far and beyond that of her primary election competitors. Read more about our comments regarding Ms. Bresso here.

Mike Lameyer is an "everyman" who is a self-made entrepreneur, a husband and father, a community activist and a Marine Corps veteran. Mr. Lameyer was born and raised in South Florida and demonstrated his devotion to our community as a youth sports coach and member of the The James Madison Institute's Palm Beach Board of Advisors.

Michael Ian Rothschild is running to replace the retiring Judge Ron Rothchild, his father. While people may think that a son replacing a father is bad practice, this is a case where both jurists are well-recognized for their knowledge and professionalism in their own right. Broward County would do well to consider another Judge Rothchild.

Recommendations for Republican State positions in Broward County serve 2 purposes:

1) The current state committee members, particularly Sharon Day who also acts the RNC Co-Chair, have served our party for a long time and for the most part honorably. Day however in her role as RNC Co-Chair is one of the few figures that you can point a finger at for the disastrous primary process we have had and for the discord within the party that have undercut the chances of our nominee come November. If President Obama wins reelection Day is a chief contributing figure of that result.

2) Broward County is suffering from a lack of energy and ideological resolve. The TEA Party for the most represents ideas that the Republican Party gives much lip service to but little in terms of action. Replacing the members of the Republican State Committee for Broward County would go a long way to achieving a Republican Party that does what it says it will do because they actually have people in leadership that believes in ideas not just political power and country club politics.

Broward County Republicans are encouraged to cast their vote in support of Corrin DiPasquale and Ryan Anderson both young, up and coming and lifelong Republicans.
